little rail leak in way of a mast slam

the veneer stops short of the rail curve, creating a must-fail hinge

exacerbated by an amazingly flimsy fiberglass lamination

this one is glassed now, but the same precarious condition exists all around the board........

what he had really come for, though, were inboard foot strap inserts, to better accommodate his size 13 1/2 feet

the insert cut-outs reveal an unusually light construction, devoid of Carbon or PVC sheet foam

new inboard foot strap inserts installed and glassed over

refinished, and inboard pad extensions fashioned from some left-over bits

all ready for those size 13 1/2s!
