wind blows boat off stands, it
turns about halfway and the tail hits the ground hard, with the forward end
likely still supported at the moment of impact
the boat flexes opposite its normal working
mode, the joint between aft deck/aft end of cockpit (which is only glued
because it does not normally see high stresses) lets go
which puts the topsides in compression,
unfortunately exactly in way of a step-down in the Carbon laminations, which
normally is safely beyond the ends of the cockpit.
the remedy: weight tail to exactly align the
original cockpit/deck joint and thereby exactly restore the rocker; glue all
joints; bevel-grind all edges, glass w/ 12oz glass in Epoxy
